Cycling in Cornwall offers a rider an overwhelming sensory sensation - sandy beaches, sunny weather, a soft sea breeze in your face whilst you roll through the quiet country lanes flourishing with wild flowers. The breath-taking landscape allows you to part forgive the area for the punishing inclines that you get on the coastal roads, as you ride into the pretty little coves and harbours, and inevitably have to clamber back out.

Some of the many diverse landscapes include the heavily-forested Camel river, the China clay pits, as well as the coves dotted along the coast and the untamed Lizard and Penwith peninsulas. You’ll surely get the urge to get off your bike too, and spend some time discovering the Eden Project, Heligan and Trelissick gardens, the Minack Theatre, and many wonderful pubs and tea shops across the countryside.

What's the plan

Day 1: Arrive in Cornwall

Arrive in St Austell, based the Southern coast of Cornwall, which will be your base for your stay and provide access to some of the best places to ride your bike over the next few days. We suggest a quick warm up ride to get used to the nearby hills or a visit in the afternoon to the Eden Project.

Day 2:

Here is an example route of what can be ridden on our Cornish Cycle Holiday. All routes can be tailor-made depending on what mileage and elevation you would like to do.

Day 3:

A visit to Cornwall would not be complete without visiting Land's End and the Penwith peninsula which we can organise with a transfer or using the train network. Contact us today to learn more about this route and much more that you can see and do in Cornwall by bike.

Day 4: Departure day

There is time for one final cafe run to a small cove 10 miles from St Austell before heading back home. If you would like an extra night this can be arranged, just contact us below.
